Ivan Aristeguieta: The 10 Funniest Things I’ve Ever Seen (on the Internet) | Comedy

l love and hate the internet. On the one hand, it helps me to get in touch with my loved ones who live abroad, I can make bank transfers from home and I find it very educational. On the other hand, it makes me fight with people I’ve never met, I’m poor because of all the useless things I buy online, and it makes me stupid. Happy, but stupid.

I never thought I spent so much of my time watching stupid videos online. If I had learned another language at the same time, I would have already published my first epic fiction novel in Mandarin. I hope you enjoy these videos and join the club of happy procrastinators.

1. Naked Tuesday on Stan

Nude Tuesday is a brilliant and very funny New Zealand film, filmed in gibberish, with several subtitle options. You can choose between the book written by Julia Davis or the book written by Celia Pacquola and Ronny Chieng. It makes it two completely different funny movies. Recommended!

2. Kirsty Webeck’s Twitter feed

Kirsty Webeck isn’t just a hilarious stand-up comedian, she is a tweet machine! She shoots a million tweets a day. She’s got all sorts of silly jokes about current affairs, plus plenty of tweets featuring her pets Fergie and Joan. Jokes, cats and dogs – what else do you need?

3. Official bird song

I can watch funny animal voiceover videos all day long. @thenatureparty on Instagram has great. I highly recommend the official Bird Anthem video – it’s invaluable.

4. Gleyf Brauly’s cover of Bon Jovi’s Livin’ on a Prayer

Gleyf Brauly is a singer and plays the keyboard. He is from Brazil and he can play and sing any cover in the world. Mainly American pop hits from the 80s and 90s. However, he doesn’t speak a word of English; he sings the songs as he thinks they sound.

5. What your gym schedule says about you

Tedsthetics sits in his car and shares his thoughts on everything from pizza toppings to Australian shops, coffee and tattoos. What he says is very accurate and you can’t change my mind!

6. How Dog Breeds Fight

Jonny Devaney plays different dog breeds in different situations. It is very impressive how he manages to capture the essence of each breed. I didn’t know it could be so funny to compare a corgi to a Yorkshire terrier in a fight.

7. Music video clips without the music

I mean I can’t. It’s too funny; way too funny. The power of score music in films is not appreciated in this way. It can turn a hilarious video into a romantic story. I can watch these videos over and over and sniff each time.

8. David makes a baGuetta

Duncan Evans (AKA @curlykidlife) caught my eye when I came across one of his Instagram posts — a video that featured celebrity DJ David Guetta superimposed over cooking videos. This masterpiece is called “David makes a baGuetta”. It’s impeccable.

9. Drew Lynch – Concussion

Every once in a while you come across a comedian you’ve never heard before and immediately enjoy yourself. Drew Lynch was one of my great discoveries this year. His jokes are incredibly well crafted, very chilled, coupled with a likeable personality. His stand-up special, Concussed, is very funny.

10. The Little Chef Show

The most adorable chef on the internet made of felt. He speaks in a silly Tiny Chef language (which I’ve almost perfected) that will make anyone giggle with utter joy.
