Charges filed against 7 Spartans

Charges have been brought against seven Michigan state football players for their involvement in a melee in the Lloyd Carr tunnel following Michigan football’s 29-7 victory over MSU in Ann Arbor.

Video showed several MSU players punching and kicking two UM players separately, later identified as Ja’Den McBurrows and Gemon Green.

After weeks of investigation by testimony from the Big Ten, the University of Michigan Police Department and the Michigan State University Police Department, the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office released their findings Wednesday afternoon.
