The head of the ballerina killers of the John Wick universe will appear in the movie about the ballerina assassins from the John Wick universe, with The Hollywood Reporter to confirm that Anjelica Huston will reprise her role as The Director in the spin-off starring Ana de Armas ballerina. Huston’s character was introduced in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum as one of the few remaining people in the hitman underworld who was still willing to have Keanu Reeves’ Wick return a favor, with Huston appearing as the head of a Russian crime family that also trains young women to be murderous ballet dancers. The last time we saw her, her hands were stabbed as punishment for helping John (whom she calls Jardani, which is his real name, meaning the two have some sort of significant relationship). Ana de Armas will presumably be one of The Director’s ballet dancers as she is the star of the film and the film is called ballerinaand it involves her using her assassin skills to avenge an attack on her family.

Besides Huston, we know Ian McShane will also reprise his role of the John Wick movies, returning as the formerly trustworthy hotel mogul Winston (although we don’t know when this movie takes place in canon, so maybe it’s before he cheats on John Wick). Speaking of Mr. Wick, he might also find time to come over, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet. Whether he’s involved – and how – will also be an important element of when this takes place in the canon of the other movies, as the previous movies pretty clearly captured his entire timeline from when his puppy was killed to when he united. with the Bowery King at the end of Chapter 3 (although John Wick 4 comes out earlier than this one).

And speaking of someone called the principal, ballerina is directed by Len Wiseman of the Underworld series of movies, which we still don’t understand. But who cares, we get used to it. Maybe it’s not so weird.
