The 75 km long trail runs between the forests and the bluffs overlooking the Pelly River and offers magnificent views and good wildlife watching depending of the season. It is possible to complement the hike with a scenic canoeing trip on the Pelly River back to the starting point.

HIKING TRIPS ON MOUNT MYE
(3, 2 or 1 days)

During these mountain hikes you will ascent the summit of Mount Mye, the highest mountain in the area, and be able to enjoy unforgettable panoramas. There are excellent opportunities to see wildlife, especially Fannin Sheep and Caribou as many animals spend the summer on Mount Mye. You can reach the summit in a very long day-hike (14 hours)  or choose to spend the night near the summit and take 2 days for the ascent. For the 1 and 2-day trips we will take the same route to ascend the summit and come back.

Our 3-day trip will take you to the summit and across the whole mountain and offers a very special wilderness experience.

These hikes start and end in Faro. You will hike an average of 5 to 7 hours per day. The nights on the mountain are spent in 2-person (or 1-person) tents.

This is the most demanding of our tours. To fully enjoy these hikes you must be in good condition and able to hike up to 7 hours through steep slopes with a backpack containing food for several days, a tent and your personal equipment that will weight between 15 and 18 kg (30 to 40 lb). One part of the hike on Mount Mye is steep with loose rocks.

Included : Guide & meals; transfer from Faro to trailhead and from exit point back to Faro(40km);  2-person tents and sleeping mats.

Not included : clothing and sleeping bag (rental possible)

Dates : can be booked any time upon request
